There are many opinions on how coffee should be stored at home. As a general rule of thumb the worst enemies of freshness are heat, light and humidity. It’s not a good idea to store coffee directly in glass jars as it will be in contact with oxygen and light, and it can deteriorate it more quickly. Also, avoid placing coffee in very hot places or expose it to direct sunlight. If we make sure we keep coffee away from these we can agree to a better longevity of coffee. Ideally, a cool and dry place will do the trick. Enjoy your coffee!
